   Hi Marfans synrome affects the aortic root.Usually beta blocker therapy delays the development of dialation of aortic valve but when symptoms arise surgery is indicated with:
   1. Left ventricular ejection fraction less than 45-50%
   2. Aortic valve dialation of more than 50-55 mm when normal is less than 40mm .
   Both indications can be prophylactic without symptoms
