   Enumerate 2 indications for doing Surgical closure for ASD ?

   Hi There, Indiactions for shunt closure of ASD are
   1. Ventricular overload( due to blood going from left to right atrium)
   2. Shunt fractio which is measured by Echo which is greater than 2
   3.Elective closure for a child preparing to go into more active life
