1) Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine: its concise but packed full of facts. Great to dip into and also to refer to with a particular query.
2) Kalra's Essential Revision Notes for MRCP: every recommends it and with good reason. Provides a good structure on what you should be studying.
3) One big textbook. I don't think it really matters which (Kumar and Clark/Davidsons/Harrisons) but its useful to have one on the bookshelf on standby to refer to if a particular topic flummoxes you!
